Board Member

Eddie Edwards brings a wealth of experience to the Camp Resilience team. Governor Sununu recently appointed Edwards as the Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Safety. Previously Edwards has served his South Hampton community as the Chief of Police. Edwards has also served as the Director of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission’s Division of Enforcement & Licensing. In 2008, Edwards was recognized as one of the Top Forty Leaders in N.H.’s Under Forty by the State Chamber of Commerce-Business and Industry Association and the N.H. Union Leader. A Navy Veteran, and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Edwards was appointed a member of the N.H. US Attorney General’s Identity Theft Task Force, Governor’s Crime Commission, N.H. DWI and Street Gang Commissions, and the Governor’s Commission on Law Enforcement Accountability, Community and Transparency. Eddie Edwards has a rich history of community service, serving on the Board of Directors for the N.H. Endowment for Health, Chair of N.H. Disproportionate Minority Contact Committee, and the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice. He continues this legacy of service through his valuable contributions as a Board member for Camp Resilience.
