Volunteering at Camp Resilience is a great way to get involved and show First Responders and Veterans the grateful community support they deserve.
Camp Resilience Retreats help service members, veterans, first responders and their loved ones recover and maintain their physical, psychological and emotional well-being. These free 3-4 day retreats combine peer-to-peer counseling, life skills workshops and outdoor experiential learning. Camp Resilience strives to provide attendees with the tools to develop self-improvement goals and sustained ties to their community. The retreats stress the importance of camaraderie and wellness in fostering resilience. Learn more about our programs and scheduled sessions.
Learn to use music and visual art to help you heal and improve your overall wellness.
Camp Resilience, in partnership with CreatiVets, the Currier Museum of Art, and the Red Cross, offers this retreat to Veterans looking to spend time with other Veterans to learn how creative arts can help improve their overall wellness and life satisfaction.
And other FUN activities like:
Camp Resilience, a proud partner of Red Cross and Badger Wilderness Guides, offers an exclusive Bushcraft Skills Retreat. Bushcraft is all about acquiring skills and knowledge such as that can help a person survive in the wilderness
Participants will be outdoors for many of the projects, but there will also be indoor workshops and they will stay overnight in a fully heated and comfortable lodge setting at the beautiful Hidden Valley Boys Scout Camp in Gilmanton, NH.
Workshops will be based on PREP Inc., the gold standard for the development and dissemination of evidence-based relationship education curricula. While some of the values underlying strong and healthy relationships are timeless (e.g., respect, commitment, forgiveness), there is always more to learn about helping couples and individuals become more resilient. As well as providing cutting-edge knowledge, PREP also refines its educational strategies for teaching adult learners.
