First Responder Retiree Retreat – May 2025

Camp Resilience offers this retreat to all First Responders who are retired or approaching retirement! Workshops will be focused on effective are designed to enhance your quality of life and mental and physical health through small-group discussions and hands-on activities.

You Matter. Your Health Matters.

Join us for four days of rejuvenation and adventure in Gilford, New Hampshire.

The retreat will feature:

  • Participants will explore topics such as:
  • Navigating the transition into retirement
  • Finding purpose
  • Strengthening mental and physical health
  • Avoiding isolation and boredom
  • Creating structure, and thriving in retirement

AND other FUN activities, such as

  • Hiking
  • Kayaking

All lodging, meals, and activities are provided at no cost, however transportation to and from the retreat is the responsibility of each participant.

Military & Veteran Couples Retreat – June 2025

RETREAT IS FULL – APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Join us for 4 days of togetherness and adventure at the beautiful Ames Farm Inn in Gilford, New Hampshire. Camp Resilience offers this retreat led by two highly experienced couples therapists. Challenge yourselves by taking part in both exciting and relaxing activities, such as sailing, hiking, aerial treetop adventure, yoga, tai chi, and/or martial arts mindfulness and emotional self-regulation skills will be focused on throughout the retreat.

Retreat Features:

  • Self-assessment & Partner Engagement Methods.
  • Opportunities to strengthen your relationship skills.
  • Sharing sessions about successes & fixes.
  • Methods to get out of the rut and warm your partner’s heart.
  • Ways to introduce respectful humor and make things FUN!

Military, Veteran & First Responder Family Retreat June 2025

Camp Resilience proudly partners with New England Collaborative Training and Retreats to offer this unique family wellness experience to military, veteran, and first responder families. Whether a two-parent or single-parent family, you are welcome to attend. Enjoy three days together, having fun and finding new ways to improve your family relationships. Camp Resilience retreats provide skill-based family building sessions, group activities and free time for family connection. Families will stay in rustic cabins with bunk beds and will enjoy the rare opportunity for electricity and internet-free surroundings. Participants are required to bring their own bedding and towels, and the minimum age of children is 7 years old.

Camp Resilience Retreats help service members, veterans, first responders and their loved ones recover and maintain their physical, psychological and emotional well-being. These free 3-4 day retreats combine peer-to-peer counseling, life skills workshops and outdoor experiential learning. Camp Resilience strives to provide attendees with the tools to develop self-improvement goals and sustained ties to their community. The retreats stress the importance of camaraderie and wellness in fostering resilience. Learn more about our programs and scheduled sessions.
